Blade Pile NZ was proud to attend and sponsor the SESOC 2025 Conference in Wellington, our first time supporting the event as a sponsor. Held from June 25–27 at the Tākina Convention Centre, the conference’s theme, “Navigating Change with Integrity and Future Focus,” addressed the evolving challenges in structural engineering, including sustainability, digital transformation, and resilience in the face of natural hazards
Having a stall allowed us to connect directly with engineers from across the country, including many familiar faces from our network of over 150 Blade Pile certified firms nationwide. The conference highlighted the importance of early collaboration between structural and geotechnical engineers, especially when projects face complex ground conditions or tight construction programmes. These conversations reinforced what we see every day, the earlier Blade Piles are considered in the design process, the more efficient and cost-effective the construction phase becomes.
We’re committed to supporting the engineering community by providing the latest resources, tailored design guidance, and technical expertise, ensuring Blade Piles can be integrated smoothly and confidently. From bridging services to working on constrained sites, earthquake strengthening, or contaminated soils, we’ve built our reputation on helping engineers deliver practical, efficient foundation designs.
