Blade Pile partnered with Prorise LTD, our Christchurch foundation repair and house levelling partners, to stabilise an earthquake-damaged home in Rangiora.
A total of 76 Blade Piles, each installed to a depth of 5 metres, were used to relevel the 240 sqm house and provide long-term stability. The piles transfer structural loads past weak or liquefiable soils into stable ground below, ensuring the home is protected against future ground settlement and liquefaction.
Blade Pile’s screw piling system allowed the work to be completed efficiently and with minimal disruption, avoiding the need for extensive excavation while achieving precise levelling. This project highlights the effectiveness of Blade Piles for earthquake remediation, foundation repair, and ground stabilisation, giving homeowners confidence in the durability of their property.
